Apollo was found as a stray by a good Samaritan. She saved him from getting hit by a car on the highway.

Meet Apollo 🐾

Apollo is a 1–1.5-year-old, 74-pound bundle of love who’s already proven just how resilient and special he is. He was rescued from the side of the road after almost being hit, and ever since, he’s been soaking up his second chance at life with a grateful heart and a wagging tail. This handsome boy is the perfect mix of playful and chill. With a medium energy level, Apollo enjoys running around outside and playing, but he’s just as happy soaking up affection right by your side. His favorite things? Big hugs, head scratches, stuffed animals, and outdoor playtime. His only complaint—he’s not a fan of when recess ends! Apollo is both crate trained and potty trained, making him an easy addition to a home. He already knows basic commands like sit, outside, and kennel, and he’s eager to keep learning with a family who will continue to guide him. He’s great with other dogs and good with kids, making him a wonderful fit for a variety of homes. (Cat compatibility is currently unknown.)

Apollo does have bilateral entropion, a condition where the eyelids roll inward, but don’t let that scare you—he’s still a happy, loving pup who deserves a family just as much as any other dog. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will greet you with excitement, lean into you for affection, and happily join you for both playtime and downtime—Apollo is your guy. Give this road-side rescue the forever home he’s been waiting for. ❤️
