Cowboy was found as a stray by a good Samaritan.
After living his young life roaming the streets of Converse, Cowboy has found a place to kick off his boots with his foster family. Despite a rough start, he has settled in and has grown to love and get along with all of his house mates including two cats and two dogs. He’s absolutely the most affectionate cuddle buddy anyone could ever ask for, and we are fairly sure he believes he’s the size of a teacup yorkie. Cowboy spends most of his days going on adventures with his foster dad who drives across south and central Texas for work. Every morning at 5 a.m. he’s up and ready, sitting by the door waiting for his harness and leash. He makes new friends every day and has been exposed to all sorts of new people. Recently, Cowboy took his first trip to Hops and Hounds, where he quickly became a play ground favorite with the other dogs. Cowboy knows sit, stay and down, but he is always so curious about learning more. He’s very eager to please. Cowboys ideal forever home would be with a companion who would take him traveling and out to do fun activities very frequently. He’s got a lot of energy and even more love in his heart. Cowboy’s least favorite thing is not being around humans; he craves one-on-one playtime and cuddles.
