Emma was found as a stray by a good Samaritan.

Hi there! I’m Emma and it’s sooo nice to meet you! I cannot wait to find my furever home!

The vet thinks I’m about a year old, and let me tell you: my puppy energy is off the wall. I just have so much joy and excitement that I often can’t contain myself. I make my foster mama laugh all the time when I get my bouts of zoomies. Though I’ve experienced some previous trauma to my back paws, rest assured because it doesn’t slow me down one bit! I love to play, play, and play some more. I love when people join me but am also content playing on my own with my toys (especially if they squeak!). Walk time every evening is also one of my favorite parts of the day. When it gets to that time, I like to wait by the door until my foster mama brings my leash and takes me out and about. I’m also full of so much love, and just want to give kisses and cuddles all day long. Beware that personal space is not a concept I like to follow, so I’ll be in your lap whenever I get the chance. Though I tend to be a crazy little gal, I do like afternoon naps and sleeping in when morning rolls around. I enjoy just about anything so long as I get to be with you!

Besides being as sweet as can be, I’m also known to be a very smart pup! I learned to give paw super fast and am currently working on some other commands too. Since walks get me so hyped up, I tend to pull a lot, but I’ve been making some great progress. I also do well in my crate when my foster family isn’t home and even at night (though I’d much prefer to be cuddling with you instead). Sometimes I like to sing while I’m in there, but I just have to make sure my voice is heard. Being around people is the absolute best, but I’m not the biggest fan of other dogs. My foster mama thinks I have great potential, but I would shine the most in a single-dog home. I’m also not sure if I like cats or not since I’ve only seen some from a distance. If you give me the opportunity, I will love you with all my heart and strive to please you as your closest companion.
