Toffee was found as a stray by a good Samaritan.

Hi, my name is Toffee. I am about a year old, just as sweet as candy and a big boy (almost 70 pounds). I have a lot of energy and like to play fetch until I get distracted with a new smell or something new and exciting. I love to give hugs and kisses and am working hard at listening. It is all just so exciting! You see, my sister and I lived on the streets for a couple of months. It was not easy and we were a little scared of people so we would not let them catch us. Then one day this couple came to see us and they were so nice we decided to go with them. Life has been great ever since! I love ALL the toys. I really enjoy chewing things. I love going on walks and I am not in any rush so I don’t pull at all. I even like meeting new dog friends on my walks. I have a foster sister cat and would love to play with her but she just doesn’t feel the same way. I think it is because I am such a big boy. I am learning  that I shouldn’t jump on people. I am really working on my manners but sometimes it is just too much fun to be wild. I keep playing the sit and stay game. I have no idea what that means but I sure like the treats I get when we play that. I haven’t met any children yet, which is ok. I think I might just want to jump on them and lick their faces. So maybe it would be best if I don’t go to a home with little kids.
