Keenan was rescued from ACS death row after a foster stepped up with literally 20 minutes to spare. He and his brother Kel were picked up together as strays.
Hi, my name is Keenan and I can’t wait to meet you! Don’t get me wrong – living in my foster home is great but I’d really like to find my forever home. Foster mom says that any family would be lucky to have me because I’ve got so many wonderful qualities. In addition to being super cute, I’m also potty trained, crate trained, and I walk really well on a leash. I don’t pull on the leash when I go for walks because people watching is my thing. I also like watching other dogs and cats go by and foster mom says I’m such a good boy because I don’t bark at any of them, I just like to stroll and take it all in! I also really like my 4-legged foster siblings and get along great with them. I’ve mastered the doggie door, love to go on car rides, and I know how to sit like a good boy. Foster mom and I are working on some other commands and it’s just a matter of time before I ace those too since I’ll do anything for a yummy treat. I also enjoy playing with my toys and chasing a tennis ball around is one of my all-time favs. But my absolute favorite thing is to just lay next to foster mom in the living room while she’s watching tv and fall asleep to her petting me. She says I’m such a loving and gentle boy. So, if you’re meant to be my forever mom or dad, come find me – I’m longing for you!
