Monica’s Story

Monica was rescued from ACS with her mom (Phoebe) and brothers. The entire family was emaciated and Phoebe had stopped feeding her very young pups. She and Rachel were on the brink of death but luckily, our medical coordinator was able to nurse them back to health and they are happy and thriving!

Hello my name is Monica. I didn’t have a great start in life, but boy am I full of life now! I love to play and play and play some more with my brothers and even though I am the smallest, I usually have them running from me. I especially love to play outside and run run run. I am crate and potty trained and do very well walking on a leash. I am very curious and always want to be involved in whatever my foster mom is doing – things like loading the dishwasher or folding laundry look like fun and I know she needs my help. I love taking a bath and playing in the water, and when it’s warm enough outside, I can’t wait to try swimming. I love people and dogs of all sizes and am super confident despite my smaller size and super friendly. I would love a home of my own and I promise to be right in the middle of any adventure no matter how small with my forever family.
