Nyla’s Story:

Nyla spent over a year at a local shelter, constantly being overlooked due to her fear of new people. No telling what this sweet girl went through before she was picked up as a stray.

Hello my name is Nyla and my foster mom says I am a total sweetheart.   I love playing with other dogs of all sizes, and got along wonderfully  with my foster brother.  We did everything together while he was with me. My foster mom says that  a home with at least  one other dog would be perfect for me, as I do super with  a companion-just no cats. I can’t help but chase them. With people please  be warned I am extremely shy at first and it does take some time to warm up,  so please be patient.  New people are scary to me, but once I get to know you, I will shower you with love and kisses! I am house and crate trained and am working hard on walking nicely in a leash-although I do love to stop and smell the flowers (and everything else) on walks!  Long walks are the best!   Sometimes I can even coax my foster mom into going for a run with me. Two of my favorite things to do are roll in the grass and sun bathe. I also love to play in the water and I am a very good girl at bath time. However,  my very favorite thing of all is a good old-fashioned belly rub. I will curl up by your side and smile for as long as needed to keep the belly rubs coming. I do love playing in the yard -especially chasing grasshoppers.  I also love playing with my toys and my foster mom says I am very entertaining!  I also am fine with snuggling up or chilling with my favorite person or doggie buddy and I am a very good and patient girl when my foster mom has to work. My foster mom tells me everyday what a sweet girl I am and how she is hoping I find my very special home
